Follow The Narrow is an Indie Rock band based in San Diego, California. The group was founded in 2018 by Evan McIntyre (Guitar, Vocals and Keyboards) and Shannon O’Brien (Bass and Vocals), also husband and wife. Soon thereafter, Matt Fowler (Guitar and Keyboards) joined the band and began contributing to songwriting for their debut album Higher Road. In 2019, Philadelphia based Tom Mellon came out to California to write and record drums. Higher Road was recorded at both Follow the Narrow’s personal studio and Peregrine Recording located in San Diego. The group’s eclectic style is a blend of alternative rock and blues, and their sound has been compared to artists such as Death Cab for Cutie, Black Keys, and U2.
